Afro House is an energetic dance style that originated in Africa. The style derives from Kuduro, an Angolan dance style. Besides elements of Kuduro, Afro House also has a playful and expressive character, inspired by - among other styles - by Pantsula, a dance style developed in South Africa and discovered by Angolan youth on their travels. They were the ones who developed the mixed dance style into the form we now know as Afro House. Afro House is a mix of different African dance genres that can be easily learned and danced by all.

Emanuel is originally from Angola but grew up in Portugal and his life with dance started from a very young age. Growing up in Angola and Portugal, he was always around dances such as Kuduro, Pantsula, Cupe de Cale and so my style of Afro House stems from this experience. Alongside this, Emanuel also dances Kizomba, Semba, Hip Hop and Contemporary which brings a versatility to my dance and a grounded knowledge of good technique and body movement.

Classes can be booked weekly up to 6 days in advance of each class
