Dance in a fun, encouraging environment!
At The Dance House, we have classes every day for children of all ages from one year old and up at our purpose-built studio in Leith, including hip hop, breaking (breakdance), musical theatre, contemporary and commercial dance - scroll down for details on our Toddler class (age 1-3 years, Thursday), Preschool classes (ages 2yrs+, Mondays - Fridays), Primary school age classes (every day) and Secondary school age classes (S1-5, weekends). From aged 12+, tweens and teens can also attend our Adults beginner or open level classes on Tuesdays to Sundays.
From 2026, we launched weekly kids classes in Fountainbridge on Fridays and Saturdays, held at Boroughmuir High School dance studio - our 'Dance House West' location - with P1-3 & P4-7 Hip hop classes, P1-3 & P4-7 Commercial, and K-Pop for 7-12yrs.
All classes run to school terms and are booked in terms or half-terms (matching Edinburgh school dates), and you can also book single trial classes in all classes with spaces available, to try them out first! Our Toddler class also runs to school terms but is a drop-in weekly class.
