Our classes for children with additional support needs (ASN), such as Autism, ADHD, Tourette syndrome and more, are structured to create a safe, supportive environment. Each ASN class is 30 minutes long for 4-7yrs or 45 minutes long for 8-12yrs, with at least three teaching staff in the studio throughout the class, who have all undertaken extensive training to support children with additional needs. During the classes, we use Visual Timetables, along with visual props such as large egg timers, as well as other transitional markers such as the 'Dancing is Finished' song, so that children have a clear understanding of what will happen during class. These classes are relaxed, if parents would like to be present during some of the class, and the whole class can be viewed from our reception area. We offer ASN hip hop classes for age 4-7yrs on Fridays at 2.25-2.55pm and for age 8-12yrs on Saturdays at 10-10.45am, and registrations are open now for Autumn term, commencing 25th August.
