Contemporary Fusion weekly class, taught by Jodie Gill

New weekly class starting Sunday 27th April 2025!​

In these classes Jodie will cover basic contemporary and hip hop flows, improvisation exercises exploring body movement, and fun choreography combinations. Classes are suitable for all dance backgrounds and levels, with no kicks, leaps or turns!

Jodie is a contemporary hip-hop fusion choreographer who’s all about flow, vibe and expression - straying away from flexibility and technique to focus on dancing outside the limits of specific dance styles. Her choreographic style is very musicality focussed, dancing to artists like Little Simz, Loyle Carner and Raye. She blends the freedom of movement and natural emotion of contemporary dance with the isolations and grooves of hip hop to create impactful choreography that’s different and fun to dance for everyone! She’s passionate about sharing her own unique way of moving and helping others to move with intention, authenticity and creativity.

 

Classes can be booked weekly up to 6 days in advance of each class

£8 per class

The Dance House studio is located inside Ocean Terminal Centre, Edinburgh, EH6 6JJ.  Find us on the middle level of the centre, in between Starbucks and HMV.
